Hello wonder-seekers!

A quick note to let you know that Kickstarter has released the funds and I've just paid the deposit for production to begin on the Decks and Guidebooks - woohoo!! This is SO exciting! I should be receiving an offset printed sample/proofs in a couple weeks - they'll stop the presses and sent me samples to check over before they run bulk production! I'll post an update when I get them.

A few important things: 

•  If your pledge was dropped because your payment was in error, when I send out the Backerkit Survey you'll get one final chance to fix it. If you decide not to fix it at the Backerkit Survey stage, your next opportunity is during pre-orders: pre-order pricing will be higher (but still a bit lower than retail) and not all bundles/bonuses will be available (ex. you'll lose out on your Kickstarter Early Bird gift or the free Diary of Wonder if your reward tier was eligible).
•  Backerkit Survey will be coming in September and you can upgrade your reward tier or add-on items you missed during the live campaign. Also, check your final mailing address and calculate shipping costs. All this will be explained again when the survey goes out.
• Over the next few weeks into September I'll be placing orders on all the other items as well as completing the build for your Labyrinth of Enchantment online wonder haven -this is where all your digital goodies live!
• My plan is to start on the Diary of Wonder design after we ship all the rewards end of this year so I can give it my full attention!

The Kickstarter has officially ended and we raised a whopping $75.5k, THANK YOU!!!

I am still in amazement - you guys have been incredibly enthusiastic from the start till the end, with backers rolling in even in the last few seconds of the campaign! For a RECAP on the past four weeks - highlights, stretch goals, add-ons and achievements, check out my last update.

For those who are just as excited as I am for the next stage, here's what's coming up:

• Kickstarter will process the pledges and release the funds in 2 weeks. If your payment fails, you'll get an email to fix it. Please make sure to check your inbox so that your rewards don't get delayed.
• Once the funds are processed and released I'll be placing orders for the items - first one would be the Deck and Guidebook!! I'm planning for production of these items to start in September because they will take the longest time.
• A few weeks from now, in September, after the funds are released, I will be sending the Backerkit Fulfillment Survey - this is an important step so keep an eye out for it. This is where you'll confirm your rewards, choose your options, upgrade or add-on any items you missed. You'll also calculate shipping and check your address.

That's it for now. These are the most immediate things to look forward to. I'll send more detailed instructions on filling out the survey when we get there. As always ask and comment away if you need help!

It's the last 24 hours of the campaign and can you believe it, we're almost at the finishing line and pushing $70k raised!! 

I'm feeling a bit emotional - this past few weeks have blown all my expectations out of the water and I'm BEYOND grateful for all your enthusiasm for this wonder project. To celebrate the closing of this campaign, here's a quick recap of the past 4 weeks, read-on if you're just now catching up or want to make sure you don't miss anything.

A summary of all the highlights, stretch goals unlocked, fun add-ons and backers-only perks!

#1. Over 300 Early Birds in the first 72 hours + Kickstarter 'Project We Love' BADGE! WOW, so many early backers and all you amazing folks really helped us get on the Kickstarter map, win the coveted badge (hand-picked by Kickstarter!) and gain incredible momentum that held up throughout the campaign!

NOTE: If you earned a free Early Bird rabbit bookmark, you DO NOT need to add this to your pledge, one is already reserved for you and you'll see it in the Fulfillment Survey after campaign ends. You also don't need to worry about changing/adding to your pledge and losing the gift, we will reference your Backer # for this, and as long as you don't cancel you are good!

#2. Edge gilding stretch goal was unlocked at funding (we funded in NINE hours on the FIRST DAY!!): The final verdict is in: there will be edge gilding on BOTH the Deck and the Guidebook! I talked about this feature in the very first update here.

#2 We sailed past the $35k and $40k milestones in the FIRST week (!) and the brand new Diary of Wonder stretch goal was unlocked - a gently-guided blank journal designed after my own wonder journals, to capture all the glimmers from your wonder-walks. A FREE copy only during this Kickstarter, for all Reward Tiers Curious Adventurer $85 and up. (So many of you chimed in on exactly how guided you'd like the Diary to be, so thank you for helping to shape this. ) Details on the Diary here.

#3. Midway through the campaign, samples arrived from the printer and they are so beautiful - edge gilding for the Deck and Guidebook (!), window cutout, bookmark ribbons, Labyrinth embossing...take a look at the unboxing video, find out what my favorite new features are, and more pictures in this update here.

#4. In the last week, much-requested matching pouches and ship charms landed as add-ons, in TWO sizes so you can keep your Decks and Guidebooks (or Diaries) in pristine condition during your wonder adventures! More pictures and details here.

The Labyrinth Tapestry - seen in the Kickstarter video - is here!

Thank you to everyone who expressed their interest in this woven beauty. It's one of my favorite things to adventure with - I love taking it on my longer wonder-walks to paint and daydream on - and I'm delighted to share this with you in these last days of the Kickstarter!

It's big, beautiful, versatile and just as wonderful as a majestic wall-hanging as it is a picnic blanket to accompany your wonder adventures and snuggle with on cool evenings in the wild.

Woven in the USA out of 95% mostly recycled cotton from one of my watercolor paintings, it has a large Labyrinth motif you can trace with your hands or feet to embody its ancient and magical wisdom. Every time you use this tapestry, let it be a gentle reminder of your own meandering journey of awakening to wonder.

The Labyrinth Tapestry is available in the Add-on Section. 

What's next after the campaign ends? 

One of the perks of being a backer is being part of the creative process - you'll get a backers-only, behind-the scenes look at everything that happens from campaign-end to shipping, with a rare opportunity to offer feedback and help shape the final products! With something like the Diary of Wonder that's still in development, this is very exciting!

⛵YAYY Matching Pouches & A New Reward Tier!!

My dearest wonder backers, we are in the final week of the Kickstarter, we've sailed past $50k (!!)and to celebrate this last few days, I've added a few new things, hurray!

The first one is the much-requested matching Explorer's Pouch with a ship charm, in TWO sizes: 

A medium one to protect your Deck on your wonder-walks and adventures, just big enough for the Deck and some small travel accessories -  I like to bring along my Curiosity the Rabbit and a mini loupe on wonder-walks; sometimes I'll fit a little micro-sized watercolor kit in there too. You can even squeeze in a small companion oracle or tarot deck - see photo below of the Deck with my Paulina Tarot inside a burlap drawstring pouch. 

A large one that will fit BOTH the Deck and the Guidebook (or the Diary). There's room for a mini watercolor sketch kit as well. This is great for longer creative adventures when you know you'll have time to stop somewhere to journal or paint. 

These pouches will be in the ADD-ON section. 

These pouches are nicely lined and come with the ship charm (charm design may vary from photo). Please note that ONLY the pouch and charm are included. All decks, art accessories and mini loupe (or flowers) are not included and is just for show what you can fit in there. :)
